I Never Promised You an Organic Garden

I have always loved Halloween. Maybe it is all the candy or maybe it is getting to play dress up, but for sure I have always liked pumpkin carving. Though, I haven’t gotten to do much of it myself. I only have the vaguest memory of carving a pumpkin as a child, and the last time Matt and I tried to carve one together it turned into an class on Matt’s perfection in everything. Don’t get me wrong, we had an amazing pumpkin, but I wasn’t really allowed to help.  So, to make up for it this year, Matt and I got a pumpkin from Dougherty orchards, and I got to be in charge of carving it.
