One pill makes you small…
Thanks to the recent extreme dry weather and high pollen counts my dr. put me on prednisone for a week to help knock out my allergies. I followed all the rules and took the prescribed lessening dose for 7 days and am now experiencing what I can only explain as some sort of withdrawal. Last night I was not even able to sit up without feeling totally exhausted. I felt very much like what a deflated balloon must feel like. Today I am having the same symptoms only to a lesser extent. My whole body feels full of lead. I am also experiencing some achiness and definite trouble sleeping. This is very disconcerting considering I only took the medication for a week and stepped down gradually as the dr. recommended. I can only hope that this gets better soon.

For any one who noticed my Alice in Wonderland reference in the title, I feel like it is a fitting comparison to how I am currently feeling. If I start seeing talking rabbits I am really going to worry.
