During the Super Bowl Dodge had an ad depicting the emasculated miserable men in the United States who are so unhappy in their relationships that they have to drive the Dodge Charger in order to find happiness. I can’t begin to describe all the reasons why this particular ad is so annoying and offensive… and thanks to Producer MacKenzie Fegan I don’t have to.
I saw this UK PSA today via Digg and it is quite impressive. Unlike most of the bloody, gory, scary PSAs usually used, this one is quite pleasant to watch, but I think makes its point.

Method (a natural cleaning product company) has a new ad out in support of the Household Product Labeling Act. According to Method, the Household Product Labeling Act would require all cleaning products to list all ingredients on their labels. Instead of the typical scare tactics, Method uses a bit of humor to raise awareness for the new bill.
I have always loved Halloween. Maybe it is all the candy or maybe it is getting to play dress up, but for sure I have always liked pumpkin carving. Though, I haven’t gotten to do much of it myself. I only have the vaguest memory of carving a pumpkin as a child, and the last time Matt and I tried to carve one together it turned into an class on Matt’s perfection in everything. Don’t get me wrong, we had an amazing pumpkin, but I wasn’t really allowed to help. So, to make up for it this year, Matt and I got a pumpkin from Dougherty orchards, and I got to be in charge of carving it. (more…)

I am due for a new phone in February, and after playing with Matt’s smartphone I can’t wait to get one myself. I am a sucker for the fancy touch screen interface and can’t wait to check my email, update facebook, and tweet all from the comfort of my cell phone. However, the video below touches on a few reasons that even if Verizon gets the iPhone, I will not be getting one.
